Ford Falcon FG1 Cluster Programming

Description

Programming service for Ford Falcon FG Mk1 instrument clusters. You send me your cluster – I program it to your requirements, and then send it back.

Programing changes that can be made include:

• Cloning a faulty cluster – to create a bolt in replacement (including PATS, odometer etc.) if yours has failed – no scan tool necessary
• Odometer + VIN programming
• Custom start-up boot screen images
• Fuel gauge calibration changes (to suit sedan / ute – petrol or LPG)
• Brake system configuration (None, ABS, ABS+TC, ABS+DSC)
• FPV boost gauge calibration (1, 1.5 or 2 bar)
• Enable the FPV RPM shift alarm, and the RPM it activates at
• Unlocking clusters that have became locked out due to failed PATS programming

After purchase you will receive an automatic email with information on where to send your cluster. Please check your junk email folder if you can’t find it.
You must send the cluster to me at your own cost – please include your order number / return postage address with the cluster when you send it.
Turn-around time is 1 business day. Return postage is via express post and is included in the purchase price.

All programming is done via OBD. The cluster will not be physically dismantled, so no physical damage can be done.

If you require the odometer reading be reprogrammed to a value less than it already is – please include information on why this is being done (eg. a photo of original odometer reading displayed on old cluster).

Custom Boot Images

You have the choice of 1 or 2 boot images that can be customized – the standard “Ford” logo, as well as the “Police” logo if activated.
The standard images can be downloaded here for modification: FG1_Cluster_Images.zip

Important: These must be kept as PNG or bitmap format with the same resolution (120x46px for the main image, 120x61px for the police image).
They should be black and white only. Areas displayed white in the image will be lit up white on the cluster.
It is not possible to display an image across the entire display – please see the photos for an indication of where each image will display.

FG2 / FGX

This service is currently only for FG MK1. Support for FG2 and FGX models is coming soon.
