Description
Programming service for PATS Immobilizer anti-theft removal on all Ford BA, BF + FG series 1 Falcon ECU’s (2002 – 2011).
You send in your ECU, it will be reprogrammed with the anti-theft disabled, and express posted back to you.
Please note: This not NOT for FG Series 2 or FGX Models
- Get the vehicle running when the BEM (Body Electronics Module) or security system has failed.
- Permanently eliminate the problem — without chasing replacement parts or needing a second ignition key.
- 6cyl and V8 models – Auto or Manual transmission
- No ICC audio code error or instrument cluster warnings (eg. the “red hand”)
After re-flashing, the engine will start regardless of the BEM or transponder key status. If you’re using the original PCM (same serial number), the ICC and radio will function normally, and no warnings will appear. If you’re swapping PCMs, audio security can still be re-initialized using a scan tool or Forscan — just like with factory PATS. This is possible because our solution patches the PCM’s operating code, not just PATS flags.
The ECU is located on the LH side of the engine bay. If it has never been removed before, 3 security bolts (that have a head that breaks off by design) need to be drilled out or cut off to release the bracket. These can be replaced with regular M6 bolts when reinstalling.
When being reprogrammed, the VIN number and current strategy / calibration is not changed. Each ECU is individually read / edited / reflashed, rather than using “ready to go” files that may not be 100% suitable for your vehicle.
How it works
After purchase you will receive an automatic email with information on shipping your ECU. Please check your junk email folder if you cant find it.
Once I receive it, it will be programmed and sent back to you via Express Post at no extra cost (usually the next business day).
FG models
This not not for FG Series 2 or FGX Models, only FG series 1 (up to 2011).
FG series 2 and FG-X use a completely different system. Work has not started on a solution for them at this time.
