Holden VT-VZ ALDL PCM Simulator

Description

Features include:

• Instrument cluster warning lamps
  – Check engine / MIL
  – Oil pressure
  – Power shift pattern (auto trans)
  – Cruise on / Cruise active (VZ)
  – Alternator warning (VZ)
• Coolant temperature input, which can be connected in multiple ways:
  – Using a dedicated LS1 style sensor
  – Custom coolant sensor with custom pullup resistor
  – Backprobing off an existing coolant sensor signal
• PRND gear position input
  – Direct connection to 4L60 range switch,
  – Discreet inputs for Park / Reverse / Neutral / Drive,
  – or using a 0-5v analog voltage input.
• AC request output, retain the factory dash switch to operate your air conditioning.
• Fuel level input for VZ clusters, using any sender with a range within 0-240 ohms.
• VATS output, to trigger the starter motor relay only after a valid programmed key has been inserted.
• ABS/TC + SRS Airbag data simulation, to keep the cluster happy if these modules are no longer fitted to the vehicle.
• Stand-alone instrument cluster support. Transmit ALDL data required by the cluster without requiring a BCM.

Module configuration can be performed via the integrated USB port and a terminal emulator program (such as PuTTY), or directly via the ALDL data bus.

The USB port can also function as a USB to ALDL serial converter, allowing you to send and receive ALDL data directly with your PC.

The module has a small size of 80x50x35mm, with 3 removable wiring connectors.
